BRIEF:
Rethink the current video conferencing platform for education. Design a digital experience that: accommodates a teacher's needs of presenting and teaching students through video conferencing. And also allows students to engage with their teacher and classmates whilst being able to interact with the content of their lessons.
SOLUTION:
Through research and user testing I came across a number of issues when it comes to using current video conferencing platforms within an educational setting. A few of the main issues established were; What sets HubEd apart from the competition is the introduction of separate log-ins for students and teachers. This allows for a more tailored experience where teachers will have access to unique teaching tools and be able to communicate with students as easy as if it were in the classroom. Students will also have access to tools that will improve the learning experience such as, group work, study sessions and communicating with teachers.
